POKEMON RULES

pokemon speech

On our site, pokemon have the ability to speak. Meaning that you shouldn't be surprised to see one of them come up and start talking with you. The only thing we ask is that you single out pokemon speech from your character's speech. We ask that you use at least <"SPEECH"> to block off pokemon words. Feel free to also use colors.

pokemon moves

Pokemon on this site can learn up to eight moves at one time: six natural and two tm and hm slots. After that time you have to start giving up moves to learn new ones.

pokemon evolution

All pokemon will evolve at their original times. Pokemon evolve the same with stones as well as when they evolve with items and the stone. Pokemon that evolve with trading will just evolve at level 35.

evolving during travels

A mod will let you know when it is time to evolve your pokemon. If you do not want your pokemon to evolve just let the mod know and you can do it next time it levels up. Or just grab an everstone from a store.

pokemon abilities

In this roleplay, like the anime, pokemon can use both of their abilities. This way there is no confusion on what ability each pokemon have.

friendship points

through various interactions, you can increase or decrease the friendship points of your pokemon. the more friendship points it has, the more friendly and obedient the pokemon is towards its trainer, and the move return will also be stronger. the less friendship points a pokemon has, the less friendly and obedient the pokemon will be towards its trainer.

all pokemon start with 0 friendship points(unless it is your starter), and can get either a minimum of -100 friendship points, or a maximum of 100 friendship points. when your pokemon gains friendship points, the staff member modding your post will let you know how much friendship you gained. below is a list of all things that can be done to lower or increase friendship.
