NEW MEMBER STARTING GUIDE!
Welcome new members to DBMH! The staff want to personally thank you for considering and hopefully joining our site! We want you to be as comfortable and as happy as you can be on our site so we have made this little list for you to get started on our board. If you have any questions about anything on our site or about this guide please don't hesitate to ask a staff member. Without further ado our list:
1. Sign up with your OOC ACCOUNT first. You will use this account for all your out of character posts and it also gives us a way of keeping track of everyone!
2. Make sure to read all of our rules and regulations. I know it may seem like a lot but they are there to help you enjoy our board to its fullest potential. Once again, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask a staff member online or shoot Latias a pm.
3. Create an account for your character and make your character! Make sure you look at our sites available canons, the character types and the face claim so your character is perfectly acceptable. Please note that you cant use preview mode with our app or it will mess up on you. Just let a staff know if this happens and we will try to fix it for you.
4. Post in the notification thread with a link to your completed character. The staff will get to your application as soon as possible. If someone does not reply within 2 days feel free to shoot Latias a pm about it.
5. Choose your pokemon! A staff member will post with two choices of your characters soulmate pokemon. You should reply to your app with what pokemon you chose and edit the pokemon into your app along with its current move set. All soulmate pokemon may have ANY of their moves including all of their tm and hm slots filled (so all 8 moves in total). If your character is a Black Gale member they will just get an accepted note and nothing further will need done.
6. Ready to roleplay. Once an admin has accepted your character and changes have been made you will now be ready to roleplay on our wonderful site. Please make sure to enjoy yourself!!
