We are a pokemon/his dark materials crossover roleplay that takes place in a new region formed from the sea that has been named the tsuin region, meaning twins. Unlike in normal regions tsuin has a rather strange connection with pokemon, whenever somoene is born a pokemon is born beside them as a soulmate! These pokemon are decided by your deepest heart of hearts and ultimately represent you as a person.
05/08 grand opening! we welcome everyone to dbmh's grand opening. we have a lot of fun things in store for you and we hope you enjoy every little thing. as always if you have any questions please let a staff member know. currently we have a opening promo that will be going on for a little while so make sure to get something good from that before it ends!
Spring is in the air! The combee are about and as lively as ever. It is to be nothing but clear skys for the next month or so. Make sure to pack some light clothing as the weather is only going to get warmer from here on out till summer comes around. at this time, there are no swarms happening, but this will be edited when one does appear and a link will be given where all characters may go to capture these swarm pokemon!

The ranger leader had really to many things to do. There was just no way so much work could be done in one day. So many missions had been popping up lately and there was only so much one ranger could do. Thankfully he wasn't alone though, and Aurelio had many other capable staff and rangers under him to help fix the world that they lived in. After all, if it wasn't the rangers who worked towards making sure everything was proper who would? So, it was a nice breath of fresh air to come to the safari zone.
With his soulmate by his side the ranger stepped foot into the safari zone to actually catch a pokemon for himself. After all, he couldn't very well put his soul out there could he? That would be a bad idea, he remembered the last time the snake had tried to protect him. It hurt.. The white-haired ranger shook his head before quickly making his way inside. There was only one ball in his hand, sort of a special occasion for him since he was a ranger.. he'd have to remember to write a thank you note to the owners of the safari people later.

Aurelio didn't have to go far within the safari before a splashing sound seemed to catch his attention. His pokemon seemed to notice it too as its snake like head turned in that direction. "Its alright Idhrenion (eeth-rehn-ee-on), no need for any alarm." the ranger spoke flawlessly. His hues had already zero'd in on what was causing the noise. It was a water type, a poliwag to be exact. Golden hues watched the pokemon as it played, but it didn't really seem like it was a pokemon that would fit the ranger.
So with that thought in mind the ranger started to move again placing his hands in his pockets. The grass type snake quickly followed his soul past the pokemon not bothering it. ("Aurelio, what exactly are you expecting to find out here?") he asked. While he wasn't one to voice his complaints there was always that small feeling that he was being replaced and that didn't sit well on the grass types stomach. He didn't think Aurelio would do that... but still one couldn't be too certain out here.

The ranger had to admit that was quite the strange question. He hadn't heard many from his soul so it actually caught him off guard. "Why would you ask that?" he asked. Though he sort of had a feeling why but he wanted to make sure before he gave the wrong answer. ("Im just currrrioussss why you chose to come here.") the snake hissed softly back at his trainer and friend.
A bright smile came from him. "Well that's silly, because we were offered it for free and who am I to turn down such a kind offer. " he said. The snake let out a soft sigh though he seemed to be the only one that noticed the bird of prey watching them from her tree branch. She wasn't really a fan of birds like that and if Aurelio didn't notice then who was she to say anything.
Without saying a word the snake slithered on after her trainer who didn't notice a thing.

While Aurelio hadn't noticed the bird his golden hues did manage to find sight of the water pokemon that was just ahead of him. Seeming to be busy doing something else the pokemon shot a bubble attack at the ground not far away from her. That actually managed to catch the ranger's eye. While he wasn't a coordinator, which she may have been perfect for, he really did admire that she could have such accuracy. That would work wonders on missions if he couldn't find any pokemon nearby.
Idherenion hissed a little and noticed the pokemon his trainer was taking notice of. The male snake like pokemon said nothing this time as his trainer walked forward. "Well hello there miss, I couldn't help but notice that you have excellent aim. " he said with a kind smile on his face. The ranger had bent down on his knees so he could be almost on the same level as the other pokemon. "I bet you can't do it again." he said trying to get the pokemon to try again for him.

A small smile seemed to play at the sides of the ranger's mouth as he watched the pokemon perform. It seemed she was quite the natural at it, one that any coordinator would have loved to have. While he wasn't one of those and she wouldn't be able to perform on a stage, she would be able to help save lives. Perhaps she would be content with that but the ranger wasn't quite sure.
He let his hands clap together in a soft applause before smiling once more. "ah! you got me, you could do it again, and so well! hmm.. you seem like you really like to perform. i'm sure you would love to be taken home by a coordinator. unfortunately, im not one of those.. im a ranger and i help save lives of both pokemon and humans. i know that isn't quite the performance that you may be after but... do you think you might want to help save lives with me?" he asked.
Of course, Aurelio would respect its decision either way. He knew what it meant to have a dream and want to live towards it. There was a reason he had become a ranger after all. If this pokemon wanted to become a star for a coordinator who was he to stop it, however... if it wanted to help him change lives.. then it might just have a new home with him.

The ranger only continued to give his soft smile to the pokemon before him. It seemed to be considering his offer which was at least better than just turning it down. After all, there was only so much the ranger could do to convince the pokemon of coming along with him. That was wehn the idea popped into his head of what he could do. Quickly the ranger dug around in the bit of things he had been allowed to bring in.
Producing food the ranger offered it to the pokemon before him. "How about some of this as a peace offering?" he asked offering it to the pokemon. Aurelio didn't really know what else to do for the pokemon. He had already been honest with it, so he guessed the last step was what he had already done. Maybe, just maybe he'd be able to take home this new addition to his team.

This Palpitoad is a bit of a showboat. She loves to prove how good she is at her moves and will often demonstrate them in spite of protests. If someone tries to make her feel like she's not good enough, expect a sassy attitude and a dazzling display otherwise.
