A new beginning! [Starter/Mod]

Penelope Beaumont was finally going to start her journey, she had her trusty Wigglytuff, and was already on her way. It was not too long ago she left her parents, and started off towards the contest hall. She left them a note saying what she was going to do, and if they decided to see her then that was fine, but if not she'd  check on them if close to home. Wigglytuff on the other hand didn't mind leaving, they had completely forgotten their daughter, and her fellow friend, so it was time to start fresh. Penelope was still hurt from it all, and knew she needed to move on. So here she was, right in front of the Contest Hall doing her own thing. Wigglytuff waddled next to her, and just tugged at her dress. "Let's do this Penelope! No looking back girl!" Penelope just blew out a huge breathe, and looked behind her. It was too late to turn back now, and especially since she was already too far from their home. Her parents weren't going to change, and standing in front of this building was proof of that. They didn't even stop her, and well she was on her own now, except for having a soul pokemon. It was just the two of them, and as they finally went through the automatic doors, Pene was once again amazed. She'd only been inside one time while at night, but that one moment was enough to make her fall in love. So now she stood, brown eyes scanning the room, Wigglytuff sway, and the two both anxious. "Helloooo! Anyone here? I'm Penelope, a new coordinator!"

All seemed well and quite as Penelope and Wigglytuff entered the building...that is, until a loud crash came from the back room and interrupted the relaxing atmosphere. "GIVE IT BACK!" A loud cry echoed as a blue of pink ran past Penelope, moving into a corner. There stood a small skitty, holding a brown ribbon in its mouth. It wasn't a special item by the looks of it. Perhaps just a piece of cloth if anything. None the less, only a few moments after the skitty skidded to a stop, an eevee came around the corner, huffing and puffing as if out of breath. She seemed oddly colored compared to most eevee, but none the less, she also seemed distressed. "That's not fair! It's mine so give it back!" She dashed forward to the skitty, moving as fast as she could and ignoring the woman who had just entered. Just as the Eevee was getting close, a third pokemon emerged. A sentret came huffing as well, stretching up on his tail and holding out his little arms. "Over here!" He called, letting Skitty toss the ribbon that now noticeably had a bell on it. The sentret stretched up higher, reaching for the bell and---

"That is ENOUGH!" Without any further torment, a young woman came around from the back, snatching the bell out of the air as a skarmory followed behind her. "Children. Show your respect. There is someone here." Skitty and Sentret stopped what they were doing, looking to Penelope with shocked expressions. "Whoops! Retreat!" She cried, both of them running to hide but both being blocked by Skarmory. "Welcome. Sorry for the rude introduction. I'm Marie and this is Scrap." Marie scooped up the strangely colored eevee, quickly tying the brown ribbon around the poor pokemons neck. "You're here to start your journey right? I'll register you right away. Scrap?" The Skarmory nodded, spreading her wings to scoot all three pokemon closer to Penelope. "Since you wanted to cause a ruckus you can greet this lady properly!"

All three pokemon stood nervously before Penelope now, the skitty being the first to jump forward with a grin. "Hi! I'm Skitty! And this is my partner in crime Sentret!" With a bit of hesitation, Sentret came forward, smiling a bit more shy than Skitty. "Hello..." He whispered, ducking down to his partner's level.

Eevee took a moment to move forward, staring at the ground. Her voice was small and hard to hear at first. "Um...hello...I'm Eevee..." Marie was typing on a computer, allowing the coordinator time to greet the three pokemon.

Coming into the hall was one thing, but finding out it still didn't have anyone was a little surprising. The place was packed as far as she knew though she guessed that was on contest days, or prep days. Whatever it was today was not one of those days, or so she believed so before the pokemon ran past her. They were all different, adorable, and she couldn't imagine just taking one of them with her. However it seemed like she'd be only to take one, and as the woman introduce herself Wigglytuff took the reins."Wigglytuff is the name! Nice to meet cha!" She waved at her fellow Pokemon, and studied each one closely. If she was going to be traveling with anyone, it needed to be someone who could keep Penelope up! So she looked back at her dear friend, and pointed at the Skitty, indicating she wanted her as a buddy. Pene on the other hand was just giggling away, it had taken her a moment for the scene from before to sink in her mind. "Hehehe! I am so sorry Miss Marie. I'm Penelope, and this if Wigglytuff, as you can see."  She smiled, and waved just as her friend had, and too examined each one. First starting with the Skitty, it had been the first to walk into the room, or well run that is. "You are so so so so sooo adorable! But, I don't think you are right for me at the moment. I need something more exotic." She leaned in to pet the kitten, and back up to look at the Sentret. "Even though we both love to have fun, Sentret is maybe a little too fun? I mean, well right now I just don't need a Sentret. Sorry little guy..." Wigglytuff shook her head, she wanted the two of them since they WOULD be fun but now it was at the little blue squirt. Penelope on the other hand, petted the two Pokemon she rejected with a sad face, while Wiggly just spoke up. "Sooo I'm guessing you want the..." Wigglytuff's voice trailed off, as she looked back at Penelope, who nodded at her. "Yes. I'd like the Eevee please. It may seem a little shy, but I think we'd have a good time together."

Skitty was the first to be spoken to, the outgoing cat like pokemon having been the first to approach the young woman. Seeing the Wigglytuff point her out, Skitty puffed up her chest. At least SOMEONE realized her brilliance! None the less, once she heard Penelope's voice snap to focus, Skitty focused on her comments. Cute? Well duh! Not exotic? Well! "That's fine! I prefer to play here anyway!" Skitty's eyes lit up mischievously, her ears standing up. If this trainer didn't see her brilliance, that was fine! Someone else obviously would!

Next up to be pointed at was Sentret. The small male seemed to back down a bit, squeaking low whenever Penelope turned to look at him. He shifted closer to Skitty, hiding behind her a bit. Even when Penelope began to pet the Skitty (who basked in it and even leaned into the pettings!) Sentret seemed to curl in more, hiding as much of himself as he could. "Y..yeah! To much fun...hehe..." He agreed in relief, sighing softly as skitty pushed away the trainers hand and the both of them began a game of chase, quickly disappearing beyond the door way. Scrap had no intention of stopping this time, watching eevee instead.

"M..me? Really?" Eevee looked up with wide eyes, noticeably shocked. She stood up and slowly approached Penelope, pawing at her leg three times before giving a loud squeak of joy. "Someone really wants me!" She cried out, running circles around her new trainer before realizing that all eyes were on her. Quickly skidding to a stop, the eevee looked down to the ground with a smile and a blush, switching her front paws back and forth off the ground. "Excuse me...I got a little excited..." She spoke in a soft voice once more, looking shy as ever.

"If that is your choice then you are ready to go. I just need your full name and I'll print your card." Scrap stepped forward as Marie talked, pressing into eevee with her beak lightly. "Good luck out there kid. You'll need it." The Skarmory stepped back raising her head and eyeing Penelope and wigglytuff closely but without saying anything.

Gender: Female
Personality: This little eevee may be shy but boy does she have some energy stored down inside of her! Although Eevee has trouble expressing herself, she loves to play and run around. However, since she's been bullied for her odd coloring, she prefers to play with herself or her trainer instead of other pokemon. She nervously keeps a brown ribbon tied around her in hopes of blending in with other eevee (though, it never works).
Other Information: Because of her odd coloring, this Eevee feels the need to wear a brown bow. This has no effects but takes up the held item slot. If she is not holding this ribbon, she becomes nervous.

Wigglytuff may not of been happy about her pick, but it wasn't really for her to decide. All she did was put in her two cents, and if her soulmate decided to listen, then that was fine with her. Penelope did enjoy the input, and took it to heart since the two of them had been friends for so long, but today she was listening to herself. As the two Pokemon not chosen ran off to play again, while the Eevee was more than ecstatic to be picked and showed a little more excitement then before. Pene just smiled, and picked up the little onw nuzzling her. She was so excited she had forgotten about Miss Marie and Scrap. Wigglyftuff on the other hand just nodded in agreement, and looked up at his partner to make sure they understood. "Scrap said good luck, and Miss Marie needs your full name, got it?" Penelope quickly nodded and set down the Eevee who slowly nuzzled her leg, its fur tickling her just a little bit. "Penelope Rose Beaumont." She gave a embarrassed smile, while Wiggly just chuckled a little bit at her absent mind. She could tell it was going to be a long journey, but at least the three of them would be together, and maybe Wigglytuff could break Eevee out of its shell. It didn't hurt to try at least, the little one seemed so frail and really needed to get some backbone. Penelope liked her just the way she was, blue fur and all. She knew the three of them would get along well, and so would the other Pokemon captured along the way.

Marie didn't look up from her computer, hearing the excited voices chattering about. She simply typed away, allowing Scrap to step beside her and watch the new coordinator closely. She hit enter and watched the printer work its magic. She snatched up the I.D., reading over the item before sighing and sliding it forward. "Very well then. You're ready to begin your journey. This I.D. shows that you are a fully registered coordinator and that you got your starter pokemon from us. Enjoy your trip and do be careful of Black Gale. There are people in this world who mean no good." Marie pat Scrap on the beak, sighing softly. It really was a shame to know there were such people out there that would harm dear soul pokemon.

"Just try to stay out of trouble." Scrap tilted her head in thought, sighing softly. Marie was right. There was much fear out in the world now thanks to black gale. What a terrible position to be in...

Marie didn't wait any longer for the woman to speak, moving to continue whatever she was working on in the back. Scrap paused to look back at Penelope, wigglytuff, and eevee before following after Marie, moving quickly.
