They fought together and when his discharge came to pass, they continued to work hard despite their limps. Both of them seem connected not just as soul pokemon and friends but on a deeper level. They can almost read one another's mind (not actually but hell, they might as well be able to. They know exactly what one another is thinking). The small pokemon was out of its league, fighting in route 205 to prove his strength. Leon stepped in and caught Ire in the process, recruiting ace and working on their attitudes toward one another. Ironically, Ire and Ace are now best friends and love fighting together. Ace is so named because he excels at fighting recklessly, putting himself forward even in dangerous situations. He is rather fearless. Ire wouldn't listen to anything Leon had to say and would often pick fights with his other pokemon. However, after years of hard work and dedication, Ire warmed up to Leon and began fighting along side him instead of against him. She even became close with Ace! Ire is so named because of her temper tantrums and irritability. Apprently, Pancham had been trying to sneak in to challenge the gym leader so he could join the party! Leon decided to extend his offer to Daunt and Daunt was more than ready to join his team and show the gym leader whos boss! Daunt was so named because of his big size (even as a pancham) and because of his tough demeanor. Leon had been on his way to Hazimi town to secure a starting pokemon and start his journey for a purpose when a small Meditite fell out of the near by bushes. Leon had meant to walk by her but then the small pokemon clung to his leg, wanting to go on an adventure to. Needless to say, he found his starter and Sin found a new friend. Both were rather calm pokemon from start till today. FIGHTING PSYCHIC Hitmonchan ♂ THE punching POKEMON NAME - Zion ABILITY: Keen eye; Iron Fist LEVEL: level 58 HP: 174/174 HELD ITEM: n/a MOVES: Ice punch • Fire punch • Thunder punch • Mega punch • Sky uppercut • Pursuit • Earthquake • Attract MET AT: Level 12/Route 203 NOTES: Zion was met in a rather strange fashion. Zion was met while trying to scale the mountain, hoping to be the first Pokemon to scale it by himself. Leon had met the pokemon on his way up, looking for the next gym. He bypassed Zion at first, not concerned with the wild pokemons plans. However, he saw Zion later that night, still climbing though much slower now. He confronted the pokemon and watched over him as he climbed up. Once Zion reached the top, Leon came to the pokemon with food and water. Zion joined Leon's team in order to strengthen himself further. Zion was named because of the mountain he chose to climb that day.  FIGHTING Mienshao ♀ THE martial arts POKEMON NAME - Snitch ABILITY: Inner focus; Regenerator LEVEL: level 57 HP: 171/171 HELD ITEM: n/a MOVES:  Drain punch • Low kick • Bounce • U-turn • Fake out • Reversal • Focus blast • Protect MET AT: level 24/Dante's Cavern NOTES: Snitch had found herself lost inside Dante's Cavern and had given up hope on finding her way out. However, when she saw a trainer making his way through, she followed behind him. Leon had noticed her and motioned for her to join them, offering some water for the dehydrated pokemon. After they made it out, he challenged her to a battle which she accepted. After Leon won, he caught Snitch and she joined them for the rest of his journey. Snitch is so named because she likes to spy on people by sneaking around and then tattling on them to Leon. She favors spying on the other Elite four though Leon never really told her to. Fighting
