When his red eyes managed to creak open he was met with a lovely black expanse. Well, not entirely. There was the barely recognisable, muted hue of blue that indicated the sun was beginning it's ascension over the horizon. How disgusting. The teen's brows creased in distaste. He didn't want the morning to come yet, he was far to comfortable wrapped up in his cottony cocoon, harsh sunlight was the last thing he wanted at this moment. His sleepy eyes squinted further before he tossed his body over to face himself away from the window to ensure he didn't receive a blinding wake up call.
Though his eyes were sealed shut he could feel the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. It was the same sensation he experienced when he felt someone else's eyes on him and of course in this situation he knew just whose they were. Damnit, I shouldn't have moved. The black-haired youth moaned mentally to himself when he came upon this realization. In a risk move he opened his eyes only to be met in a close proximity to a startling pair of ice-blue ones. "Gah!" Sasha jolted back at a rapid speed heart pounding and failing to realize that his issued bed was only a single and sent himself sprawling on the floor with a loud bang, curtsey of his head, duvet soon following to cover his stunted form.
{I knew you were awake.} A feminine voice rang out once the clutter ceased. Sasha managed to haul himself up and peak the top of his head over the bedside to glare accusingly at the oddly coloured absol. "That so?" he grumbled. "Then why couldn't you have gotten my attention like any other pokemon and just poked me or somethin'?" Shifting his weight forward Sasha, somewhat sluggishly, managed to haul himself up onto his feet. Back arched in an effort to rid his muscles of stiffness before returning his attention to the red creature. "Staring at people in their sleep is pretty creepy, Cersei, even for you." He added the last part as a whispered afterthought but the absol caught it all the same causing her expression to become dull and unamused.
{Perhaps that would be the case, but then, you weren't asleep.} Sasha opened his mouth to retort but failed when a pair of pants and a shirt were tossed at his head. {You should get dressed now, since you're awake.} She spoke in a smug tone. {You mentioned something yesterday like 'let's get there early so we can avoid the masses' right?} Oh he knew what game she was playing, but he couldn't deny it. Those were the words that came out of his mouth before the two settled down for the night at the small lodging. Dear Arceus was he regretting it, no sane person would be up this early. Look at him! He couldn't even think straight!
He quickly fixed the backwards shirt and threw on the pants, not bothering to run a brush through his hair and instead just re-braiding the dishevelled strands. {Beautiful.} The pokemon smirked, taking in the young man's appearance. His disregard for personal appearance never ceased to amaze her. "I didn't ask for your opinion." He glared. "And I'm still pissed at you for waking me." His hand grasped the strap of the messenger back which ultimately contained all that he owned, including an egg he so carefully had wrapped up in the fabrics, pocketing the sleeping gear he deemed himself fit to face the abysmal dawn.
"Right. Let's head to that contest hall." Sasha sighed, flinging the strap over his shoulder and setting out the door Cersei quick in tow. After dropping off the key by the reception desk the duo left the small establishment without much words exchanged. But it was a comfortable silence as they trekked along the worn path to their destination. Hazimi reminded him of home to a certain degree. It was small, quaint, quiet. Of course this place would have gotten far more visitors than Celestic Town ever did due to it's importance with regards to starter pokemon and the like.
{Ah, I think I see it!} Cersei's voice broke the peaceful silence brought Sasha from his thoughts. {I wonder if it's open...} The absol went on, quick to notice the lake of lighting from within the building. The concept grated on the young man's nerves. "It damn well better be! I've got no bed to go back to!" Cersei just sweatdropped. So that's his reasoning... It's not like she could argue with it though, spending several hours waiting by a closed door wasn't very appealing; she had to agree. Plus, she didn't doubt that her familiar would sooner pass out on the ground than risk waiting in boredom.
He was surprised when he reached the door that it had actually opened. However it was no lighter in the interior of the building, the place seemed like a dead zone. "Someone forget to lock the doors?" Came the brief contemplation. {Does it matter? Let's just step inside and take a look, there must be someone here.} Heeding Cersei's advice Sasha entered the building with more certainty compared to his slow opening of the door. "Yo~?" He cupped the side of his mouth as he called. "Anyone here? I'm here to pick up a pokemon!" His voice echoed through the halls, hopefully he was loud enough to catch someone's attention. If there was anyone here at all.
{The place seems rather dead don't you think?} Sasha felt like giving the pokemon a clatter over the head for the obvious remark. "Ya think?" He replied sarcastically, running a hand through his uneven locks to calm himself. From the corner of his eye he spotted a row of joined chairs, each padded with a thin cushion that couldn't have done much for comfort but looked inviting all the same. His mood having perked up some, Sasha sauntered over to them and unceremoniously flopped lengthways, leaving Cersei to stare incredulously at his behaviour. "Wake me up when someone comes." His voice was muffled and near incomprehensible through the fabric.

The hall was black, with no lights on in the place. Though with the door opening so easily, there must have been some reason as to why the place was unlocked. It was all very strange, though most of the town didn't tend to wake up until a few hours later. As the boy and his absol came inside there was no response to his call inside the hall. No one responded and the creepy feeling of the situation didn't seem to matter at all to the trainer himself.
To the absol however, it would probably be able to feel the presence of one or more beings in the hall itself. Almost... like they were teleporting back and forth between rooms. How... awkward. The souls however, weren't anything normal. There were pokemon inside the stadium, and by the way they were moving so fast they were most likely ghost pokemon. There were definitely no humans here ... at least not yet..
The eerie feeling only got stronger however as the ghosts seemed to sense that they were not the only presence in the building anymore. Thankfully with the window still shut the dreaded sunlight was still kept out and they could roam freely throughout the contest hall. One in particular seemed quite interested in the beings that were in his hall. One particular ghost seemed to disappear before suddenly appearing in the same room as the two newcomers, a haunter.
It suddenly hovered over the human that had made himself comfortable on the chairs to sleep. (Have you come here to become a coordinator?) its voice, still dark and scary, showed some kind of knowledge to it. Though.. it would be super awkward to have a ghost hovering over you and its hands so close it could reach out and touch you whenever it wished.

Cersei was skilled enough to be able to detect the the mild presences of more than one entity on the premises. Had she been any other pokemon perhaps she would have thought them to be the workers or caretakers of the building but not her, she knew from the mild tingling sensation in the back of her mind that they were not human. It was arrogant of her to speak for the abilities of others, pre-assumptions were something she often found herself incapable of controlling. Even so, the dark-type remained alert to some degree. After all, such a place hardly seemed like the appropriate place for a haunt. Unless dressing up was what the ghost-types liked to do nowadays.
The absol gave her head a small shake. Sasha's steady breathing let her know the boy had unsurprisingly travelled to a state of unconsciousness in record time. Maybe she should have felt guilty for getting him up this early...she'd never say it to his face though. If there was one thing she detested in this world it was admitting she was wrong. Come on. A creature like herself with the ability to predict and, depending on her mood, prevent disasters from occurring. Apologizing for false judgements was a no-no.
Content that the sole human was safe enough in his current state, Cersei took to wandering the closest hallway, staring absent-mindedly at the pictures and partially aware that some were dated photographs of coordinators past. Some she recognised from the books Sasha had managed to get his hands on but she never bothered to remember the names. Upon reaching a particularly flashy photo complete with a gabite clothes in lace she cringed in disgust. {I swear.} She spoke dully. {If he even thinks about putting me in something so horrific I'll shove my scythe up so far up his-}
"Aaah!" In a split second the yell caused Cersei to stop short and twist her head in it's direction. There was no doubt about whose voice it was. Razor sharp claws found it difficult enough to find some hold on the tiled floor but her feel for momentum was enough to prevent her from making any painful collisions with wayward objects. {Sasha! What happ-} As she rounded the corner she slid to a stop to find her partner pale-faced, wide-eyed and in a state of shock. {...end.}
"..host..ge...way" The traumatized youth muttered out. Ah, that was another thing. Cersei suddenly felt a small pang of guilt having not thought of reminding the boy sooner. He never felt comfortable around ghost-types, the reason being explained well enough by the sight before her. They had a habit of scaring the crap out of him. {Ah, yeah. Sorry Sasha, I knew they were here but I forgot to tell you.} The absol explained so very straight-voiced that completely contradicted her notions of being 'sorry'.
One of his eyes twitched comically. "You don't sound very sorry." The sarcastic jibe was muttered through gritted teeth, he really wished this purple blob of malice wouldn't hover over his in his sleep, having Cersei was enough. But the world seemed to hate him this day in particular, no human deserved this twice in one day, let alone the span of an hour; give or take. Sasha didn't waste any time in rolling up and off the seats and standing at his full height, desperate enough to put some distance between him and the ghost. "Y-Yeah, that's why I'm here." He would have thought his presence alone made it obvious enough but he couldn't fathom why this pokemon would want to know.
Cersei calmly padded forward to stand by his side. {Are there any humans around?} She asked. {We're in a bit of a hurry.} There had to be people around right? The door was open, it couldn't have just been ghosts. Her train of thought took a bit of creative liberation as she imagined the haunter donned in that outfit she'd seen displayed on the wall and she had to fight off a fit of laughter. Sasha just quirked a brow at her when he felt her body trembling by his leg. The last thing he wanted to know was what went on in her mind.
The ghost hadn't quite meant to scare the poor boy into quickly moving as far away from her as possible. A quiet pout came from the ghost which looked kind of funny considering that its mouth had to be open. It wasn't like she didn't expect it though, there were a lot of people out there that were afraid of ghost types like her. She let out a soft sigh and just floated in front of them now.
("I apologize for scaring you, if you wish you may refer to me as Belladonna.") the ghost said before its eyes turned to the female absol that padded its way beside that of her owner. (" What a lovely soul partner you have. ") she mused giving the absol a smile of her own but resisted licking the poor dark type. That always happened, that urge to lick other pokemon..
Her eyes however were redirected to the male as he spoke (rather shakily at that). ("A human? Oh I see...") her words were soft. In a small flash the pokemon's body was surrounded with a light (that looked much like when a pokemon was evolving) and its form changed to what looked exactly like a human being. The light slowly faded and there stood a woman with silver hair and a big smile on her face.
"Is this any better?" she asked in the human language now with a slight giggle. "My Master is out right now, but I don't think she would mind me taking on her form. I can help you find a pokemon if you don't mind." she said. Not waiting for the young boy's answer she quickly walked past him, it seemed she was used to being a human, though not many knew that this change could happen when your bond became strong with your spirit pokemon.
"Was there any pokemon in particular you wanted?" she asked a bit giddy as she skipped through the room flicking on some lights in the corner.

Cersei felt an unsettling shiver travel down the length of her back when the haunter smiled at her but nevertheless she and Sasha nodded in unison to the female ghost's compliment. The laters form slightly more tense than the white and red canid beside him. Sasha knew well enough from her slightly heightened posture that she was soaking up the praise of her inevidable 'lovely-ness'. Honestly, she let her vanity go to her head at times. In other words the coordination business was perfect for her.
Two pairs of eyes widened when the haunter, now known to be Belladonna, became enveloped in a harsh light and the result leaving them both in a state of shock and awe. "T-That's..." Sasha couldn't really find the words to describe it. The knowledge of altering forms to that of you rsoul pokemon was a completely foreign concept to him. "How did you...?" Red eyes blinked several times as if to make sure what he'd just seen wasn't some illusion the ghost cast on him. Cersei's reaction was no different although she didn't voice her surprise.
He let the nagging curiosity slide. Now wasn't the time, no matter how irritating the need to sate it was. Time to get back on track. When the bulbs overhead flickered on Cersei mourned the loss of darkness, her eyes narrowing a bit from the glaring artificial light. {A ghost-type would be a pretty obvious no don't you think?} She mumbled silently, more to herself than anything though she was positive Sasha could hear after receiving a small jolt to the side from his leg. A subtle hint to 'not invoke the ghost's wrath' maybe? She didn't really care, her mood was a tad soured by the sudden illumination.
"I haven't really thought about it actually." He cupped his chin, tapping his cheek lightly in thought. He had assumed the usual three choices would have been decided upon before his arrival and he'd be left with no say in the matter regardless if any didn't meet his expectations. Wasn't that how it usually worked out? "I wasn't expecting to be able to chose to be honest." He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, a habit he seemed all to happy to display.
Really though, who could he chose to be the third member of his little entourage. Or second, depending on what you though of the egg in it's pouch, now that was something he was looking forward to with a large enough part of him vrying for it's contents to be something worthwhile. Yeah, he wasn't a saint. Even he had pokemon he couldn't handle; as one could plainly see. However, Belladonna's transformation made it infinitely easier to speak with the female.
Cersei didn't make any further comments, she had her suggestions for potential team members but ultimately it was left to Sasha. He had to make the final call, and she knew it would be fun to watch. Even now she could practically hear the gears in his head working double-time to try and reach a decision. She almost pitied him. Almost.
Charmander? No, awesome as they were the thought just didn't sit right with him. Damn. Were the absol not by his side he would have settled on a dark type in a heartbeat. Of course he wouldn't have wished her to be anywhere else, the thought made him ill. He just had a natural dislike for repetitive typing, call it a mild case of ocd if you will. Either way that was one choice marked off the list...only seventeen more to go. Though the more he thought about it the more he realized that he wasn't helping himself.
Right. This was getting too rediculous for words, seriously. He didn't want to waste any more time in this state of endless thought. That was the issue, he was thinking to hard. All he had to do was ease his mind and say the name of the first pokemon that came into his head and all would be well, or so he hoped. This whole thing was starting to make his head ache. Cercei's silence was also a surprise, a half welcomed one at that since he would have liked a bit of help, he'd all but expected the absol to openly voice her opinions but it seemed that wasn't the case.
"Buneary...?" Cersei face-faulted, head turning in a robotic fashion to stare disbelievingly at her soul partner. He didn't turn to meet her gaze but he seemed just as shocked by what just escaped his lips and seemed to be too far gone over to even reconcile; voice seemingly caught in his throat. {...you're incredible.}
"Shut up."

It couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as it transformed and both of their faces seemed to perplex shock despite how much they tried to hide it. It was actually quite surprising that neither one of them asked about it. The ghost however seemed to have other ideas and hummed a little as she walked past the duo on human legs that she seemed quite accustomed to.
"Aren't you curious how I did that?" she pondered for a moment obviously knowing the answer already. "When you become incredibly close to your soul pokemon you will both have the ability to appear as the other. Your absol may look like you, and you may look like her. I find it quite amusing, me and my owner tend to trick people a lot with it." she giggled a little before continuing in her stride towards where the pokemon were kept. Her head turned back to look at him when he said he didn't know.
"You came to get a pokemon and you don't know what you want?" she giggled a little at him as if it was the funniest thing she had ever heard. "Well.. don't you worry.. I'm sure you will think of something. Everyone has a dream pokemon they want to train. I'm sure your no different." she said as a gentle hum seemed to ooze from her. It seemed despite being a ghost pokemon the female was quite used to having some fun and play around. Though when she heard the pokemon another fit of giggles came from her.
"Oh my goodness.. I didn't expect that at all." she confided in the young coordinator-to-be. She didn't expect it but that still didn't mean it wasn't a good choice for what he needed done. "Very well, I believe I have one buneary somewhere. Let me go get her." she said before skipping to the back. Of course the process only took a minute or so before the woman skipped back out a pokeball in her hand. "Would you just like to take her, or would you like to meet with her first? I'd hate it if you two didn't get along." she said with a tilt of her head.

Cersei gave an indignant snort coupled something that sounded like a laugh mixed with a scoff. {Me? Look like this guy?} She quirked a brow and the scythe on her head motioned toward the human by her. {Hah! No thanks. I'm quite happy the way I am.} Sasha on the other hand seemed completely enthraled by the idea of becoming a pokemon. It all seemed so surreal but he'd seen it happen with his own eyes. Well, now there was something he had to look forward to but.
Red eyes gave Cersei a sideways glance. They needed a strong bond? If you'd asked him before now he would have thought their bond to be strong enough, now he wasn't so sure. The thoughts were brushed off for another time. "A-Ah well, I thought there's be choices I had to choose from so..." He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, averting his gaze. He wasn't really sure why he blurted out that particular pokemon's name, maybe he had a thing for rabbits. Even he had to admit they were adorable but not so inclined to say it outright.
"Ma...I guess I'll just take her now." He replied, not all too caring on whether or not their first meeting got off to a good start. He didn't expect a new pokemon to place their complete and utter faith in his right off the bat anyway. Seemed a bit farfetched, even Cersei had been iffy in the beginning; as had himself. He placed his hand back into the pocket of his hoodie as he waited for her to return. {Think you'll regret it?} The absol spoke without looking up at the young man, more interested in the disappearing back of the pokemon turned human. Even though all she would see when she returned was a pokeball.
The ghost pokemon couldn't help but giggle as the two started fighting with each other. It seemed that they were close despite how they acted. After all... everyone had something to complain about and just because of small little fights didn't mean that they hated each other or had the best of friendships. With the pokemon being the other's soul and all, it was probably a good chance that the two were really close even if they fought.
The ghost smiled and nodded at his response, she would go get the buneary for him then. With a short skip in her step the woman quickly scurried off to the back somewhere to find the pokemon. It didn't take that long before the woman came back but this time once again she had reverted back to her real and original state. That of the Haunter it had been before. A small giggle like sound still coming from her. She didn't dare go to close to the boy as she offered the pokeball to the absol instead.
("It gets hard walking on two legs forever when you can just float. ") she said. The haunter waved its hand slightly as if saying goodbye to the two that had brought it a bit of joy. ("I hope you enjoy her, don't be too scared to come back and see us again okay?") she said with a giddy grin on her face. Maybe she was enjoying this just a little tooo much.
This little girl is extremely active. She doesn't really know the concept of sitting still and not moving. While most of the time this isn't a bad trait, she can tend to misbehave if someone doesn't keep an eye on her twenty four seven. This causes her to lose sight of what she is really supposed to be doing or maybe she just does it on purpose for attention from her trainer.
